Health and Fitness Training Permits

These permits apply for people wishing to use space in our parks and open spaces to carry out their business, such as fitness training and exercise classes, with paying customers.

A key reason behind the need for such permits for those using the parks as part of their business is safety – to ensure that all hirers have their own public liability insurance, are completing the necessary risk assessments, and complying with the relevant Government guidelines.

Given current guidance on social distancing, permits also help in achieving a sensible limit on a safe number of organised classes in some of our smaller open spaces.
