The Surrey Heath Borough Council Executive will meet on 16 August, with Community Grant Fund awards among the items on the agenda.
The scheme provides grants of up to £25,000 to assist local ‘not for profit’ organisations with the delivery of community projects.
To qualify for a grant from the Community Grant Fund applications must fit with the Council’s objectives from our Five Year Strategy and must demonstrate benefit to the local community or a section of it.
Surrey Heath Portfolio Holder Cllr Sarah Jane Croke said: “This scheme is an important one that allows us to support the vital work that local charities and community groups do in Surrey Heath.
“We are grateful for the time and effort that these organisations put into making our Borough an even better place to live, and are pleased to be able to support them in these difficult times.”
More than £10,000 worth of Community Grant Funding is proposed to be decided at the meeting.
