The Square Camberley hosted their Superhero Kids Camp ahead of the arrival of the anticipated Superhero Trail this week.
A series of free activity workshops were held for young superhero enthusiasts, featuring local companies such as Mrs Potts Place, The Little Gym, Camberley Library, The Creation Station and Bowman Goalkeeping. Children could showcase their artistic talents and let out some energy, with all sessions proving to be very popular as a summer holiday activity.
The Kids Camp precedes the hugely anticipated Superhero Trail, which will arrive at the shopping centre on Wednesday 3rd August, and will see 11 superheroes and 1 supervillain hiding around the centre. Visitors are encouraged to pick up a trail guide and answer questions on these fan favourite characters (including Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Joker and a 3 metre tall Hulk!) and submit their form to the Customer Service Desk to receive a free superhero gift.
There will also be even more competitions to get involved with, including the ‘Design a Superhero’ competition and a gravity-defying photo opportunity, where winning entries will receive a £100 and £75 Love Camberley voucher respectively to spend at local shops.
Children can also enjoy fantastic Comic Book Wednesday workshops, and Fancy Dress Fridays (complete with free face painting!) throughout this event – please visit the website for more details.
Rhoda Joseph, Centre Manager for The Square Camberley, commented “We were thrilled to see so many people enjoying our Superhero Kids Camp and our range of free activities. It has been a wonderful opening to our summer of superheroes, and we cannot wait for the famous faces to arrive on Wednesday 3rd August!”
