Students can begin their dance training from the age of 2.5yrs up to Adults. ISTD syllabus classes run at both dance schools from Monday – Saturday in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus.
Adult Classes are available in Beginner Ballet, Ballet Fitness and Tap
Students have the chance to take Examinations in various dance genre’s. Examinations are very enjoyable and rewarding for all students but have to be studied seriously. The School has a 100% pass rate in all Examinations taken.
In the Summer term 2019 our Ballet Exam results achieved 100% Distinction with the highest mark being 96. In March 2020 our Tap and Modern Exam results achieved 75% Distinction in Tap with the highest mark of 88, and 74% Distinction in Modern with the highest mark of 92.
There are opportunities to perform in local events, Fetes, Dance festivals, Competitions, Professional Dance Workshops, ISTD Ballet Awards. School Shows take place every 2 years where family and friends are invited to watch.
In 2020 selected students have been accepted in to the Royal Ballet Associate Programme where they will train once a week with Professional Teachers from the Royal Ballet School.
Both dance schools provide equal opportunities for all students to learn all disciplines of dance to gain confidence and development through the art of Dance and Movement in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
