We are delighted to announce Everest World Food Supermarket have signed a lease for the former Halfords store in Princess Way.
Due to open in the early summer they will sell a wide variety of food from the Asian continent together with a café and sushi bar.
This new letting in the Council’s property portfolio demonstrates the commercial confidence in locating businesses in Camberley. Everest World Food Supermarkets join the many other independents trading in the town centre.
Camberley – a great place for independents
Over 52% of Camberley’s businesses are independent, bringing individuality and uniqueness to the town. This was recognised in 2022 when Camberley town centre was been named as the UK’s top town for doing business by Enterprise Nation, the UK’s leading small business network and business support provider and in partnership with Dell Technologies and Intel.
The initiative’s goal was to shine a spotlight on UK towns that supported entrepreneurs through the pandemic and beyond – and Camberley’s approach stood out. Camberley was recognised for its outstanding support for entrepreneurial spirit which has made a lasting impact on the local community and economy.
